small victories

Today I am officially 4days cigarette free and I did week 1 day 1 of the couch to 5k program...I am feeling great and it is just the beginning.

    Good for you!! Being cigarette free for 4 days is amazing! Cigs. are a crazy addiction, one I have not been able to kick. I'm sure if I did, the treadmill would be much easier, though. :) You are on your way! One day at a time. Congratulations for throwing out TWO bad habits at the same time. Weight loss is hard, and cigs. makes it harder! So proud of you!!! Keep it up!:drinker: :drinker: :drinker:

    I quit smoking almost a year ago. My husband is about 2 months cigarette free. It's so tough, particularly with weight management, but if I can do it, so can you. Great job on being 4 days without cigs! Keep going! You can do this.

    I hear that! I've tried so many times, I figure I'll quit when I'm finally ready. I guess there's not a lot of smokers here, I'm surprised there wasn't a lot of responses. Of course, there's a lot of other great posts that went on right when yours did. Just the same, you are headed in the right direction to success! Keep on goin'!!
