    Radhakant Bajpai, 50, of Naya Ganj, India, is one of many medical record breakers to make their way into this year's Guinness World Records Book.

    The hair sprouting from his outer ears measures 13.2cm (5.19 inches) at its longest point and was confirmed by Dr R P Gupta.

    Mr Radhakant said: "God has been very kind to me."

    I'm fine with ear hair. Apparently, my youngest daughter is not. She assaults me about once a month with clippers, tweezers and several other instruments of torture to rid my nose, ears and eyebrows of excessive growth.

    I harvested one that was at least an inch long off of my partner last night in the middle of a very serious conversation about finances and debt. It really lightened the mood, I'm in favor.
