Has anyone used CLA

Has any one had success with taking CLA 1250?

  • I saw that on Dr. Oz this morning. I am curious as well!

Yes! It works as long as you exercise daily and eat at a calorie deficit while taking it.

They upset my stomach so I stopped taking them. But I've heard people really liking them. Just didn't work for me personally.
  • In the past I used it religiously and noticed no improvement as opposed to not taking them. Anything will work wonders if you be sure to add diet and exercise to it.

I avoid anything Dr. Oz suggests because in reality there is no such thing as "easy/fast weight loss" that will stay off. You need to learn healthy eating/living habits and unfortunately that does not come in pill form yet.

Very minimal effect on weight loss. Less than 1% attributed to overall weight loss. So not cost effective.

I don't know what it is, and I don't think I'll bother taking the time to find out, but since it's been mentioned in the same breath as Dr. Oz I'll just say no.

Sort of... you have to eat at a deficit, regardless, and you have to take A LOT of it - in the 2000 study, they were taking 3.4 GRAMS of the Tonalin CLA formula per day.

And the supplement isn't like a magic bullet - it is cheaper to eat less, you risk increasing/developing insulin resistance, and the effect isn't very big:

I wouldn't waste money, time, or health on it.
