Food database question

Hello everyone. My first post!
Is there a way I can view calories in a database selection before I add it to my meal? What I have been doing is search, select, note wrong calorie amount, delete from meal, search again, select, note wrong calorie amount.... etc, etc. It should be easier than this I think.

Go to Food > Database0

Yes, click on top where it says food... then right below it you have a database option.0

If you're actually adding something to "dinner" let's say, just search for the item, choose the one you're interested in, and underneath the red writing on the right it says "nutritional information". Press on that and it'll show you the info, then you can decide if you want to check out another entry or choose that one.
This way you can check things as you are adding them to your meals, instead of having to go through the database.0
