Anyone make a comeback from an ankle/fibula fracture?

I slipped on some ice the week before Thanksgiving and just got out of my cast on Monday. Doctor can't give me any definite answers on when I'll be able to do certain activities. I have been using a stationary bike off and on the past month.
Am wondering if anyone else has gone through this and has some experience with the rehab. I don't need PT, but do have some exercises. I'd love to get in one day of skiing before the end of the season (first weekend of April) or some snowshoeing. My goal for the summer is to run a 10K somewhere. Just not sure what's reasonable?
Thanks!

I think you'll be fine if you're able to use a bike already. I badly broke my ankle and lower leg bones in several places and had several surgeries to put everything back together. Took years to get able to walk, but I am fine now -- no pain and can run. If you're already putting weight on it with the bike and don't need PT, I think you'll be good to go soon. Your lucky!0
