I think I've been doing this wrong

I've got about 15lbs to lose. I've set my calories to TDEE - 20%. I'm on day 27 of the 30 day shred BUT I've been eating back ALL of those calories burnt. Shouldn't I have just eaten the 1500 calories every day since TDEE takes into account your amount of exercise? IDK..... I get my self so confused over the simplest things.

Yes if you are doing TDEE you do not eat back your burned exercise calories because they are factored in already.0
