okay to my BMR is 1958 calories and say i want to lose 2 lbs a week so that would mean that my Daily Calorie Deficit would be 1000? so 1958-1000= 958 calories. so does that mean i have to eat that many calories a day to lose weight? if im wrong please correct me.

No, your deficit comes from your TDEE, NOT your BMR.
So you factor in the activity coefficient- if sedentary this is 1.2
So:
1.2x1958 = 2350
2350-1000 = 1350
Most people aren't really sedentary though, I would suggest considering lightly active even if you're sedentary.
1.375*1958= 2681 (2680)
2680-1000= 16800 -
okay gotcha, so does that mean i would have to eat roughly around 1600 calories a day?0

Yeah 1600-1700 would be a good number for you to start. Give it a few weeks and see how it works for you.0
