Right, I've been dieting for over 2 years now and i am so close to my target but my weight loss seems to have slowed right down, i used to lose around 4 pounds a week, and now i'm lucky if i do that in a fortnight! i only have 7 pounds to go as of this morning but i really just want these last few pounds gone! has anyone got any tips or tricks to boost up my metabolism or something!

4 pounds in a fortnight is great if you are at the end of your weight loss journey.0

If you're that close to your goal, parroting the above, a loss like that is great progress.0

You have less to lose now, so it will take longer naturally. Stick with it, you'll get there! Don't get discouraged! Great job!0

really? i dunno maybe I'm just being impatient then...0

Yep, be patient. 4 pounds a week are actually too much if you are not severely obese.0

I've got about 8lbs to do. I'd kill to lose 4lbs in 2 weeks! I haven't lost anything in about 2 weeks, I just keep bouncing between 116 and 117. So yeah, it comes off a lot slower when you're close.0

Yes, definitely be patient. Losing too much in smaller periods of time close to your goal will lead to looser appearing skin and such if you don't let your body catch up with itself ^^ if it's working, keep doing it until the end!!!!0 -
I'm stuck with about 5lb to go !!! Eating really well and exercising !!! Been the same weight for weeks !! So frustrating :-(0

Same I'm increasing my calorie intake and seeing how it goes. I've been stuck at the same number for an entire month now.0 -
4 lbs in a fortnight is actually quite fast.
I'm also on the lower end in weight and I'd be lucky if I could lose half a pound a week.
It's definitely a slower process to lose weight when you're already at a low weight0 -
Keep calm and have a burger...0
