Scale not showing results

I started watching my diet on Jan 1. I dropped about 3 pounds pretty quickly and then gained some back and lost again. I try not to weigh myself all the time, but every time I get on the scale, I don't see the improvement I am expecting. I guess my diet is far reduced from the holiday diet I was on during December, so I was expecting some big results with my diet. My diary is open, so please see how I am doing. I am really trying hard to record every morsel that crosses my lips. My clothes feel slightly loose, not snug like before. Any advice will be much appreciated. I am also trying to walk and do some strength training 3-4 days a week.

Initial drop is usually water and then you rehydrate sometimes. Don't worry about the scale so much and take measurements instead. If your clothes feel better you are doing something right. Keep up the good work.0

you don't use a kitchen scale to weigh your food....you are probably eating more than you think.

Also what do you expect to see on the scale? What are your short term goal your looking for?
Also what is your height/weight? and your activity level seems to be lightly active0 -
Log everything you eat accurately & honestly. Find reliable database entries. (There's a lot of incorrect data in there.) Weigh your food. Log your exercise, and eat back your exercise calories for two weeks. If you're still not losing, eat back half your exercise calories.
