Fuel Bands

Hi! I am trying to decide if I want to get the Nike fuel band to help track calories burned throughout the day but I'm not sure how efficient this is so I am trying to do research on it or maybe some others that might be as close to accuracy as possible. Do any of you use these calorie trackers (Nike fuel bands or products like it) and if so how helpful do you find it?
Thanks for reading!

Funny you ask, I just did a ton of reasearch on this last night. I looked at the consumer reviews and hear great things about the Fitbit Flex. I think I am going to go that route. I'm just wondering about how they feel, how heavy or bulky each one is or isn't. I think I may hit up a sporting goods store to see them in person and see if I can try them on. I really want to learn more about my sleep patterns too so I want one with that option and the Nike one does not have that feature I hear.

I am also looking into a fitness band. I like the ones that also tell the time. The one that I am interested in is the Basis B1 band. it is a little more money. $200. However it gets your heart rate, skin temperature and records the depth of your sleep. I am in Canada and they do not ship to Canada. I may have to get the Fitbit Flex till I can get to the USA to get one.0

I've owned a few and just purchased a new one. Also talked to some Fitbit Owners. Here is what I took away.
More people use the FitBit so the "Social" aspect will be there more. However, the new FitBit Force is getting negative feedback as it is highly water sensitive. Also I know two people who lost their Fitbit Bands within 1 week because of the weak clasp on the wrist. Look up Amazon reviews and you will see a ton of it. The "clips" are supposed to be highly accurate but easily losable. I've looked hard at Fitbit twice over two years and ended up not going with them.
I ended up getting the Jawbone "Up 24". Same concept as the FitBit, stronger graphs and tracking, unique sleep features, Bluetooth as well, and the band is very stable. Not as many people on it, but I find that I like all the other features which are more important.0
