Just a question for those who have reached thier goal weight, Did it take you longer to lose those last few pounds? My progress is slow but steady and I still eat chocolate as my treat everyday, I am quite happy eating the way i do forever but do you have to be really strict to be super trim or will it come off eventually if I stick to waht I have been doing, I really dont want to give up my chocie, I am 5foot7 143 pounds and I do cardio and weights 6 days a week. Thanks any advice appreciated. The scale doesn't want to move anymore.

I have heard the last few are harder.
An option might be to drop the chocolate just for those last few lbs then incorporate it back into your diet. Maybe try it for a week or 2 to even see if it does anything for you.0 -
I recently discovered a website called www.marksdailyapple.com. He advocates a "Primal Diet" completely removing grains and greatly limiting dairy. I haven't gone a 100 percent but I have drastically reduced both. I used to live on milk. I've lost almost 20 lbs in less than 3 months. The science to back his claims are very interesting. He basically says you have to judge our diet from an evolutionary point. We only started eating grains and dairy over the last 10,000 years. Our bodies have not evolved to tolerate them well.0

took me about 5 months to lose the first 45 lbs, took me almost 4 months to lose the last 12 lbs. But that's generally how it goes. without the extra fat, you really can't have the same kind of deficit, your body just wont support it.0
