Thank you!!
At first I started out walking in the jogging stroller with my 2 year old. Then started going to the gym in my apt complex a few days a week, mostly stationary bike & some of the machines. In Nov, I started yoga, which really helped me with injuries & helped me mentally. Now I workout 30mins per day. I bought some dumbbells of craigslist & do strength training 2-3X week, HIIT or other cardio 2-3X week, & yoga 2X week. Oh I do not use a gym, just workout at home. Mostly youtube jillian michaels workouts or www.fitnessblender.com.
Food wise, I do not weigh my food. I had it at 1200 until October, then upped my calories to 1350. I've been at 1350 ever since. Most days I eat well over 1400 though. I started watching my macros after New Years. I've seen some major body composition changes since then as well. I try to eat fruits & veggies everyday. I eat a treat just about everyday, I've never done any sort of quick fix diet since being on here.... no juicing, no low carb diet, no restricting, no 5/2 diet, etc etc. Just counting calories as accurately as I can. I have my calories set so low because I do not weigh my food & just eyeball my portions. I could very well be eating 1700+ per day. Eyeballing has worked out good thus far.
I guess I'd recommend buying a food scale & HRM for the most accurate logging, but I did neither & it's been trial & error. Good luck! You're doing great!8 -
