Hello. I have a question I'd like you all to consider. First I want you to breathe deeply and clearly your mind, letting all of your stress and troubles from the day fall away.     Oh so many things can do that, and for many different reasons...

    Snuggles with my daughters... When they tell me they love me just because. That warm, just woke up sleepy snuggly feeling.

    Singing to a song that evokes deep emotion... One where the sounds and lyrics blend to touch a chord deep inside that makes you want to weep.

    Looking deeply into the eyes of someone you love, and seeing that love reflected back. Being in that person's arms and feeling secure, loved, desired, cherished.

    The feeling after a long run, where your whole body feels alive and you feel like you had wings on your feet.

    The night sky as a thunderstorm rumble in the distance and the sky lights up to reveal ominous clouds. The wings whipping through your hair.


    Oh I could go on forever!

    I want to say the trite thing and reply with " my kids". But that's a lie. Music. As long as I have music, I can conquer the world. And so I don't seem like the worst mother ever, my kids looooooove music too, and it makes them dance, sing, laugh and be merry.

    Sharing your love of music makes you an awesome mother! Your kids don't have to be your only source of joy :D
