Exercise Calories: To log, or not to log?

Hi all! Longtime lurker, first time poster.

I'm a pretty sedentary person, but I do work at a bakery several days a week, sometimes for as many as four or five hours straight. Should I be logging this as exercise?

I think it would be more accurate to boost your activity level from sedentary to lightly active and not log the work as exercise. It would give you slightly more calories daily and you wouldn't have to worry about inaccurate calorie estimates.

No, but you might consider changing your activity level from "sedentary" to "lightly active" if you are consistently working at the bakery.

Most people here will tell you that anything that you do normally should be considered activity and not exercise, and I tend to agree.

Agreed. Any normal daily activities should be factored into your "activity level" rather than logged as calories burned.
