I feel like I don't fit in when the workout songs threads start up, but ...

AC/DC, Whitesnake, the Stones, and Van Halen are favorites.

I occasionally have some rap songs on my playlist, depending on the workout.

I frequently listen to classical music when I'm stretching and foam rolling. I'm particularly a fan of Mozart and Rachmaninoff. My parents made me learn about music history when I was a kid. Some of it stuck.

My gym playlist is AC/DC, that's it. From Bon Scott and High Voltage to Brian Johnson and Black Ice, and everything in-between.

Doing bicep curls to "Fire Your Guns" is appropriate timing when the song coincides with the lift on random shuffle.

ETA: to the person who said Macklemore, how? That's why I started wearing headphones all the time. He killed my adrenaline buzz/concentration one too many times!

I also use Spotify and these are my current faves with great momentum building in the song to push you a little harder:

    Raise your Glass- Pink
I Gotta Feeling- Black Eyed Peas
    Wild Ones- Flo Rida
    Blurred Lines- Robin Thicke

My all-time fave "go-to" song is:
    Cowboy- Kid Rock

Yes, it is total cheeseball, but I do have Eye of the Tiger and it does work!

Also, this might just be motivational for personal reasons...but: I Run for Life by Melissa Etheridge

Keep 'em coming guys, great list!
