My first goal met with pic!

Hi, I'm Tammy and I just turned 32 a couple weeks ago. I have a 10 year old son, who lights up my life and I work a full time job fixing stuff that other people break.
Let me tell ya, I had to grow some major lady balls to even post this up here, but I promised myself that if I hit my first goal, 20 by February 1st, I would post my story to help maybe inspire others.
I started this journey on December 1st after my oncologist gave me a wakeup call and said, "you keep this up and you'll be seeing a heart doctor, too". Umm, no thanks. I am on here daily logging my food and workouts and have only gone slightly over my calories maybe twice. I also workout 5 days a week to T25 and weight train 4 days a week, and do a little running. I am making this a lifestyle change, not a diet. I have the BEST mfp friends on here and I am not sure I could even be doing this without them. So, if my friends see this, love ya!
The first few weeks, nothing happened, but my friends encouraged me to continue. I didn't quite hit 20, but I got to 19 1/2 lbs down and I'll take that. I know a thing or two about overcoming obstacles and becoming stronger, and this is what this journey is doing for me. I take medicine every day that is known to cause weight gain, leg cramps, muscle stiffness, yada yada. I don't let that slow me down and when the pain hits, I grit my teeth and push through it. I stopped making an excuse for not being fit on December 1 and I have never been happier. I will run my first Muddy Buddy challenge in April with my son and I am stoked. If you need a motivational friend, I am here, but be aware I tend to be a little silly
Enough with that...here are my pics. (Oh gawd, I can't believe I am doing this...is it possible to die from mortification??)
Dec. 1 ugh:
And here is me 2 days ago. I promise I am not sucking it in. Not in either pic, lol. Sucking it in will get me nowhere...hehe

You can do this. Definitely set mini goals. For my next 20, I want a small rib tattoo. Then for the last 20, I am going on a niiiiiiice cruise. Mini goals help me a lot!0
