How often do YOU work legs?

Long story short: I switched up my lifting routine about 5 weeks ago. I was doing 45-60 minute lifting sessions about four days a week, hitting each muscle group twice.
Now I'm doing more targeted lifting sessions for 30-45 minutes, five days a week. Instead of back/chest, shoulders/arms, back/legs, chest/arms etc., I'm hitting each muscle group once a week, but for a longer period of time.
Definitely seeing progress in my shoulders, arms and back...not so much in my legs. I'm the 1% who absolutely LOVES leg day. My legs have always been my best feature, but I struggled through my last workout (didn't go up in weight)...so I want to know how often everyone works legs. I think I'm going to continue with my current schedule but add an extra leg workout onto my back day.

I am taking weight training and a fitness class in school, five days a week. Both use weights, so my coach recommended that I do lower body (legs) every other day, with the upper body obviously on the other days.
This is a little different from the students who are only taking one class, who do their entire bodies every day (but only have class two or three days per week, where as I have five). I do 3 sets of 10 reps on whatever weight. I know it works for my arms, but my coach said I shouldn't feel a ton of pain in my legs like I do in my arms, though it will still be doing just as much.
Hope that helps!0 -
I've been very slack lately, but up to every other day with a minimum of 2 heavy weights leg days a week. I never make every-other-day going heavy, but I do make it with bodyweight and a couple of key lifts. My leg days are all either weights or bodyweight, in other words, from 2-4 days a week.
I have a bad upper back/neck problem, though, so I get the most fitness in using LB a lot0 -
I found that every 3rd day was best (for every muscle actually). I actually don't work out that frequently now, instead I'm at 2x a week.0

I do a 3x weekly periodized routine...in a typical 4x weekly split it would be twice per week but since I do 3x weekly it is once per week one week and then twice per week the next...basically an A,B,A type of thing...and follow a deviation of 5/3/1 called 8/6/3
A: Snatches, Chest, lats
B: Legs, lower back, core
C: Cleans, Shoulders, Back
Week 1: A (8), B(8), A(8)
Week 2: B (8), A(6), B(6)
Week 3: A(6), B(6), A (8/6/3)
Week 4: B(8/6/3), A(8/6/3), B(8/6/3)
Week 5: Deload/Rest
Then start another cycle and try to up my weights by 5 Lb for upper body and 10 Lbs for legs if I hit on all my reps and sets during the previous cycle...if I didn't I repeat the previous cycle.0 -
I do leg day with weights 1x/week and then on top of that I do Kickboxing aerobics and Step classes that also work the legs at least 2x/week. I used to do legs 3x/week doing a full body lift in every workout, but I have bad knees and they just couldn't handle being worked that much so I had to switch it up a bit to give my knees time to recover.0

I do lower body twice a week. I also switch up the lower body workouts every few weeks so I don't get used to the same thing.0

I have one dedicated leg day once a week, and one day where I hit them indirectly a bit while doing back work, so... 1.5...?0
