I went to have a can of lemonade but to my surprise I only had a sip and nearly threw up so I ended up not drinking the rest and just had water but on a completely different note, I discovered that I loved using the skipping rope to jump so I am going to buy myself one. :)

 ty, i needed that laugh!!! that was totally in teresting 2 read that..... to talk bout a bad drink, then flip to excersise.... ty....have a great day....
  • Jumping rope is great but very high intensity. I love it and miss it at the moment.
  • I'm sorry, but you need to face up to your body image problems. Do you realise you can do your body and your nervous system damage, by trying to attain the "perfect" lightest weight. I know from experience. Start nourishing your body and taking proper care of it - that means maintaining a normal body weight.

No problem, I read over it and was going to change it but then I just started laughing so I thought that I would give more people a laugh.

I think she means the weight you already are is pretty light. 44 kg is only 96.8 lbs, that is not healthy weight to be at sorry to say. And you want to be 35 kg, do you realize that is 77lbs, are you kidding??

At 4’8 you should be no less than 86lbs (BMI of 18.5)

If you calculate her BMI it is below the normal weight range by 2 points if she gets to 77 lbs. If she stays what she is at 44kg she is in the normal range.

So in other words, I shouldn't worry about losing weight.

So I should just maintain my weight.

My 10 y/o is very thin and 5' tall and she weighs 47 kgs. I can't imagine you should weigh any less than you do now. I think you are at a good weight.

The BMI is not for people at either end of the spectrum. Maybe it works for some, but I don't get into the healthy range until I hit 2% body fat, which isn't healthy at all.

I agree that she looks healthy, but if she wants to loose more weight to feel better, why shouldn't she? I see no jutting bones, no sunken cheeks, and also (no offense intended) no defined muscles. Maybe that's the look she wants to get, maybe she's always wanted a six pack. Such desires aren't unhealthy. Should she not try to achieve her weight loss goals because a chart made by another countrie's government says she's just fine?

There's not enough information in her profile, or pictures to justify the judgement. She posted something funny, and got judged, condemned, and advised on something that should be between her and her doctor, not random strangers that are usually here to support each other.

    [/end rant]

1st Point: Thank you for that information, I never go off what my BMI says because I don't trust it.

2nd Point: I wanted to lose weight for myself not for anyone else, I have stated somewhere that my goals might be un realistic but I had them there as a guide. none taken, mainly my aim is to eat healthy and if I lose a little bit of weight then so be it but I have never been really happy with how I look so that is why I wanted to lose a few kgs and I did say that I would be happy at 40 kgs.

3rd point: I did have a link to my photo bucket album but I am aware that they might not be good pictures, I only posted this topic because when I saw what I had written, I laughed so then thought that maybe I could brighten up some one elses day but instead got judged condemned and advised on something that I had not referred to in this topic.\

Thank you so much for your help
