Lower Body Sore - Upper Body Workout or Stretching?

My lower body (thighs, calves, buttocks, and lower oblique) are sore from a workout I did on Thursday that was only for 15 minutes yet left me sore for quite a while. Yesterday so I could get some exercise in without pushing my muscles too far, I went for a 95 minute walk in the 30 degree weather. Today, I'm not sure what exercises I should move to.

Squatting, lying down, getting up (like in a sit-up motion) all hurt where I'm trying not to move. I'm thinking of working out my upper body (arms, chest, shoulders) or going into stretching and yoga exercises, but I'm worried about hurting myself. What would you recommend?

I worked out and focused solely on my lower body on Thursday. Today I'm still sore. Doing high kicks, squats, and so on hurt. So I'm asking if I should focus on stretching or focus on upper body. That's my question.

You can try. I know sometimes if my lower body is too sore, for me that usually means my entire body is still recovering and it can affect my strength output for my upper body
