I was not quite sure where to put this post, but thought "Motivation and Support" hits the nail on the head

I have been thinking about getting some (qualified) help for quite a while but it just never happened until now.

Yesterday I had my first consultation with my new personal trainer who has many years of experience in fitness and nutrition and is also a boxer and martial artist. The good thing is I do not have to join a gym as he will come to our house/the park etc.

I am very excited.

Already in our first meeting he was able to clarify a lot for me in regards to nutrition and I have already started this morning to include that in my food choices for the day.

We agreed that he will train with me on Monday and Thursday evenings and I woke up today very motivated and happy.

I do feel what I have been missing ever since I first started trying to lose weight is guidance and qualified help to point me in the right direction and I feel that I finally made the right decision getting a trainer.

Wedding Dress here I come!

Personal trainer are very helpful. They can help you determine a routine that you'll enjoy, plus they'll do it in a way that you get the cardio and muscles worked that needed to be worked. I also work with a personal trainer every once in a while. I like her new ideas and the fact that she can check my form, review my progress, and give me pointers on how to up the ante. Also, my trainer will call me out if I'm being a lazy a**, which is why I like her.:-D

Yes that's is what I need too, someone to push me.
I am terrible with sticking to exercise, who checks on me in the gym if I turn up or not? So I never felt bad for skipping the gym. My new trainer how ever will notice if I have been lazy and as he said yesterday, he will just make me work harder if I try and make excuses. Exactly what I need hehe. I am sure I will curse him when it happens though hehehehe

I use a trainer about once a month, mostly due to the additional cost. I make appointments with friends I made at the gym, that way I can't cancel without a good reason. That helps too!:-)

I just started with a personal trainer a week ago. It's good to have someone push you. I would not have done what she made me do on my own. The price is hefty but once the weight starts falling off perhaps I'll have the motivation to do the exercise myself.
