When I used to use the gym, the best song I found to keep me going was Is This Love by Aiden Grimshaw. The tempo changes quite frequently from verse to pre-chorus to chorus, so I found it a brilliant song to work out to.

Alter Bridge - Addicted To Pain. LISTEN LISTEN LISTEN!

    ALTER BRIDGE FTW!

    Also by them:
    Isolation
    Slip to the Void
White Knuckles (one of my FAVORITE workout songs in general).
    Metalingus
Basically anything off their Blackbird album is awesome for workouts

    In a completely different genre:
Let Me Clear My Throat by DJ Kool is always a song that gets me excited lol

I like to run to 90's alternative on Pandora. So any Offspring, Weezer, Pearl Jam, etc.
  • I usually don't listen to music on shorter work outs or runs. But, Rocky sound tracks are great for my long run. I usually start in this order.
    1. Living in America.
    2. Burning heart
    3. Training Montage.
    4. Hearts on Fire.
    5. Eye of a tiger.
    6. No easy way out.
    7. Man against the world.
    8. War
    9. Double or nothing.
    10. Sweetest Victory.

I do change it time to time with work out channel on pander or iRadio.

I've learned to love the Blitzkrieg Bop by the Ramones because there's nothing like someone yelling ,"AY!! OH!! LETS GO!!!" over and over to motivate you.
  • My top ten songs that always push me when I'm flagging, and hence are my best workout tunes are:

    1. Get Outta My Way by Kylie Minogue
    2. Galvanize by Chemical Brothers
    3. Going Underground by The Jam
    4. The Pretender by Foo Fighters
    5. Closer by Ne-Yo
    6. Stellify by Ian Browne
    7. We Can Have It All by Danny Byrd
    8. Pass Out by Tinie Tempah
    9. Do You Want It All by Two Door Cinema Club
    10. We Run This by Missy Elliott

Bit of a mixture but all ten of them keep me going way past the point I want to curl up and die - especially on a treadmill!
