Yes, every day.0

I'm usually over on protein, but I eat a LOT of eggs, fish and cheese, so I'm used to it. I did go over on fat today but I had a big, beautiful piece of salmon, so I'm okay with it!0

Yes, always.0

Pretty much every day. I'm only paying attention to calories.0

80% of my diet is fat and protein.
MFP says I should have 74 sugar per day, if I get 30 it's an odd day and I've overindulged in sugared things.
since the dietary connection between fats (specifically animal fats) and heart disease have been utterly and completely disproven, I aim primarily for healthy fats and lean meats in conjunction with protein, whenever possible.
(*edit* in calories, that is. a bowl of salad the size of my head is about 30 calories.. whereas the roasted salted sunflower seeds, cheese, chopped egg, and salad dressing I put on top if it is primarily fat and protein, and another 300 to 400 calories)0 -
I'm generally always over on protein by A LOT, fats by a bit and if it's a good day my carbs and sugar intake is lower than the suggested...0

I usually aim to go over on protein if I can. Whenever I'm low on carbs I tend to be over on fat. Like others said I mainly just focus on the calories though and don't worry too much about the pie chart breakdown.0

Protein--always (lots of eggs and chicken). Fat--not usually, but it happens.0

Yep, yesterday I was over on protein by a lot. There was this roast chicken and I wanted to make sandwiches, so I did and they were good. Today, I'm over on fats because I ate avocados and ice cream. Most days it's all more balanced, it all depends on my advanced planning.0

I'm over on fats and protein on almost every single day. I rarely exceed 150 gm of carbs, and generally only about 20 gm of sugar, and most of that sugar will come from either dairy milk or a banana I have most afternoons.0

This is me . I love my eggs.cheese etc.0

Usually I struggle to get all the protein I'm supposed to, but can zero out fats & carbs.0

today was the first day I went over on fats '-7', but I am always too low on calories 'by at least 300 to 500 calories' .. I've some central nervous system damage due to a long illness 'now over' but was told by my specialist to have good fats every day regardless of anything else. still trying to eat before noon.. I know that is why I don't use up my calories..and also why it is so hard for me to lose weight. I'm starting my second week and have only had breakfast once within 2 hours of being up.. such a hard thing to learn and adjust to.0

I consider the set fat and protein goals as minimums meaning I wnt to try and hit at least those numbers and the carbs as a maximum so I try to stay under on that one.0

Today I went over 6 fat grams and some protein. I am usually under on the rest.
if you use the default MFP settings, you are probably under on both.
your daily fats goal should be = 0.35 x bodyweight
your daily protein goal should be = 1.0 x (100% - BF%) x bodyweight
these are daily minimums.
if you're obese or morbidly obese, then you can reduce your fats goal and protein goal a bit.
fats are important for all sorts of metabolic functions.
protein is important for muscle repair and retention of LBM while losing weight on a significant caloric deficit.0 -

At the top of the thread click "Settings" and then check the "Show my ticker" box.0 -
I am always over on those two, even though the plan tells me to eat 2000+ calories a day and I only average about 1300. Carbs make me binge so I just avoid them. Losing weight like a champ and feeling great so I see no reason to follow their recommendations. I say if you are meeting your goals and you feel good, then go over and feel no shame  !0

Yeah! You have lost a lot of weight also.0

I make it a point to go over on fats, being that I eat keto-style, which is high fat and low carb.0

I love my fats. I'm regularly over on fats. Sometimes protein.0
