Feeling fed up!

Hi. This is my first time posting but I had a bit of a disappointment this week and since then I'm having real trouble staying on track - it doesn't help that my husband is chomping his way through the remnants of Christmas biscuits!! I'd value some support and any ideas to help me find my mojo again!

  • Hi! I've been having trouble too this week. Even if you mess up just think "okay, I can start again right now. The sooner the better"
Keep thinking of how proud you'll feel when you log those calories and see that you're under or at your goal, and how good you'll feel when you have the weight you really want
  • Hi Pinky

What is the worst thing that will eventually happen if you don't stick with it? How would you feel then? If that future you met yourself now what would they say?

What are the best things about achieving your target? How would you feel? How would the successful future you act? How would they deal with the circumstances you're in today?

Make choosing between those two realities feel immediate and urgent : It is.

Act like the person you want to be.

Thanks for that. I know you're right and I'll try and remember that when I'm tempted. I think that I'm angry as well disappointed so perhaps I should just find somewhere to go and scream!! Anything particular been going on for you this week or just one of those things?

How wise! You are right, of course, and I've spent too long convincing myself it's not urgent. "Act like the person you want to be." I like that!
