Hi,

Just wondering if anyone has tried this? Have you done well on it? What's it all about and what kind of diet do you follow?? Thanks for any info!

I tried this years ago and was put on a 600 cal a day diet. I had to go in every day to have my blood pressure taken and weighed, then sent on my way. I became so weak and dizzy that I was actually passing out at times. I stopped this nonsense joined a gym, and started tracking my calories. I feel good and am now at a healthy weight that is easy to maintain.

It is just another gimmick weight loss fad that is out to take your money IMO. It does not cost a thing to move more and eat less.

Yikes. That's way too low. Those weren't very smart physicians.

Did one a few years ago- It was 500-600 cal /day of protein only for 3 days...then 500 cal/day of low carbs...lots of water... they gave supplements and appetite suppressants too....expensive and that kind of calorie intake is definitely not ideal for any kind of long term intake. Much safer ways to go about losing weight I think:)

Wow! I am surprised at how few calories they let you have! That wouldn't work for me! Thanks for your input!
