Lost 15 kg but gaining weight after starting weights

Hello,
Im a 19 yo Male who was 118 kg now 103kg. I lost the 1st 15kg through cardio training and over the last month have started weights. I have not lost weight in the past month and now im slowly gaining weight. My Squat is 70kg, Bench 50kg, Deadlift 70kg. Im gaining about 200g a week now and was just wondering could this be muscle or just fat? Also lost 3 inches off my waist in the past month but would just love some insight into the issue and how i can get back to losing the last 10kg. Also my diet is around 1500~1700kcal a day.

    I wouldn't weigh yourself if your doing weights

    Get a measuring tape or your body fat done : )

    You will be building muscle so will probably get heavier through toning your body
