Low calorie, Low carb...how are you doing it?

Hi

Ive just joined, i need to lose weight for our wedding next year, im wondering how are you doing it?

Low calorie, low carb.... I did low carb high protein and lost a stone earlier int he year but put it back on....

Or are you finding that excercise is the key?

    Hi there, for me it has been a case of logging my calories, eating my allocated calories exercising and eating MOST but not all of my exercise cals too
    It has worked for me so far, you just gotta find what works for you and what is the easiest for you do you can stick to it.

    i just burn more calories than i eat, and try and get foods rich in fiber and protein (keeps you fuller for longer), though i never restrict carbs because iam very active.

    my body burns off about 2500/cals a day just from doing normal things, and then i weight lift and run every day (burning off another 1000-2000 calories).

    theres only one thing i love more than food and thats cardio :)
  • Thanks for your advice and sharing your stories, I cycle at the moment only 25 minutes a day so far, so im not quite burning all my calories, ill work up to that...
