    Have you flipped through a copy of New Rules of Lifting For Women? I <3 that book muchly. Also a couple of programs I follow are Busy Mom Gets Fit and Sisterhood of the Shrinking Jeans. BMGF has a low cost 6 week weight training plan for gym people and workout at home people, and the Sisterhood puts out a new monthly workout challenge every month that is two or three simple exercises that compliment a regular strength routine really well and also work nicely as a stand alone workout for beginners.
