Rewards?

Although I want to lose a total of 100 pounds, I thought I would break it down into 15 lb. goals and give myself a reward as I reach each one. I thought a massage might be nice when I hit the first 15 lb. loss. If you are planning a reward, or have given yourself rewards, what were they?

My reward would be new clothes
I haven't thought of when to get it but every 25lb I might need smaller pants... however I have pants up to 2sizes smaller in my closet already. Waiting to be worn.

My 10 pound goal was a movie night with friends, 20 pound goal was a pedi/mani, 30 pound goal was to buy a new outfit, 40 pounds was to reactivate my face book (I deleted it when I started trying to lose weight so I'd be more motivated to lose it lol) 50 pound goal is a massage!!0

I've seen quite a few threads like this so you might search the forum for "rewards" and see even more answers from others :-)
I have not really broken it down into specific pounds lost, but I've periodically rewarded myself. At first I mainly stuck to fitness related items such as a jump rope, glow in the dark basketball, and (clearance priced) compression-style athletic pants, things I probably wouldn't buy for myself normally but do enjoy using. My husband refurbishes bicycles so I have 2 bikes at any given time, but if I didn't have that I probably would have rewarded myself at some point with a bike!
When I hit onederland (finally going under 200 lb) earlier this month, I rewarded myself with new makeup and a cool organizer thing to put it all in on my countertop. I use that stuff every single morning and while it's part of my self-care routine, which is a reward in itself, it also reminds me of my success!0 -
Looking better and new clothes at the end has been a pretty good reward for me (I didn't wait until the end for the clothes).0

Clothes, definitely. I don't really count them as a reward because they are so necessary. But yeah...I secondhand shop for the majority, and the more I lose the more likely I am to get stuff that is pushing me out of my comfort zone which is a reward. Most recently, buying myself cute new panties from Victoria's Secret (something I NEVER thought I'd do).0 -
I reward myself when I hit my goals with new gym/running clothes so they motivate me too as I can't wait to put them to good use when I get them0

Manicure/pedicure, new clothes, new workout shoes, new clothes0

My 20lbs goal is to get my belly button re-pierced! 6lbs away!0

i actually never rewarded myself. I just wanted to look slimmer for my hols last year and I achieved it healthly. i guess looking in the mirror and seeing a smaller person and also fitting into smaller clothes is so nice. To be able to go to shops that do not go over a size 16 and fit into something is nice. Being able to walk fast or jog for a few mins without wanting to pass out is also nice. All very corny I know.0

I usually do rewards per 5lbs lost. I've bought things such as new workout clothes, sneakers, nice lunch bag, nice tupperware, pedicure, massage, etc0

Newer clothes.
I started knitting to give my hands something to do.
I got earrings.
Think of stuff you always wanted to do or to get....let that help guide you.0 -
I reward myself by longevity - if I stick to the program for one month I get something, usually fitness related. If I want something expensive, I pool a couple of months.
I replace clothes as needed. At least once I accidently waited for a near disaster in public. It is even on video0 -
My son would tell you I buy shoes to reward myself but I just like shoes :blushing:
Honestly it's rewarding to lose the weight in itself - I don't really want or need anything except to be healthier and lose the extra weight.
I guess I will need clothes at some point but not any time soon as I have varying sizes in my closet :drinker:0 -

Random and OT but your comparison pic is AMAZING!0 -
Whether I'm thin or overweight, shopping and fashion have never much interested me. I do like to go and do things, but I do that anyway. However, I do like to pamper myself. I will more than likely do things like massage, a weekend get-away at a B&B, or a low-cal dinner at a fancy restaurant. Heck, I'm going to need to replace clothes as I succeed anyway, and unlike many of you, that will be a more unpleasant past time than pleasant.0

I did the same thing with breaking my 80lbs down to 15 lbs goals.
I haven't picked rewards, but that's because I'm pretty much broke all the time.0 -
My reward for my ultimate goal is a diamond eternity band ring. I don't know why, I've just always wanted one!0

new clothes. I don't award myself at set pounds. Instead, I wait until I look like a little girl playing dress up in mommy's clothes then a "reward" myself with new clothes. Kind of a boring reward but I do need them and I try to make them fun clothes I never could wear before.0

I buy myself a new song on iTunes for my iPod every pound I lose.0

My wonderful husband gives me $1.00 for each pound I lose. I did not ask for this, he just started one day when I told him how happy I was about losing 2 pounds. I am going to save up the money for a new pair of jeans. I also asked for nice socks for my Valentines gift, as chocolate is not my thing. I love new socks!!0
