I started on MFP last year during April. At first I originally wanted to track my food, so I came across this application. Never really understood the concept of tracking calories but I did a lot of research and learned various amounts of information about losing weight and nutrition. I started tracking everything I ate. Eating from 1200 calories to 1400 calories daily. The reason I started losing weight is because when I lived in New York I gained a lot of weight from constantly eating take outs and fast foods due to laziness and college. So I moved to Florida where everything is so much different and I decided to start losing some weight. I exercised for about 3 months but eventually gave up as to I did not find much interest in the exercises. Since then I've been losing 1-2 weekly. Slowly but surely. I've taken pictures of my progress. And I am far from done, but I wanted to share what I've accomplished so far. For now my goal will be to exercise and eat maintenance calories. Losing weight isn't impossible. Just a lot of dedication.
