Help with Fitbit & MFP calorie adjustments

I recently got the FitBit One...and I'm so confused! I don't understand how it's working. I go and work out - lets say the Fitbit shows I burned 300 calories. I go to MFP and it shows a "calorie adjustment" of something like 92 from the Fitbit. How do I log in what I did with MFP? I wanted to keep track of the exercises that I did and how many calories I've burned doing them. If I manually put it into MFP, then it shows all of the calories I've burned as the calorie adjustment. Which is correct? Is there a way to show the total calories burned without chaning the "calorie adjustment" for the meals? I know this sounds confusing....any help would be appreciated. I just can't figure it out!

I have a Fitbit One. I don't log any exercise calories on MFP, I just let the Fitbit sync with MFP and leave it alone. You have to remember that Fitbit figures your metabolic calorie burn as well as your activity level burn. Calories for the day of 1300 may only show 200 as exercise on MFP, I get a fairly close adjustment when I set my timer on the FitBit for exercise and check it to what updates to MFP. By wearing my Fitbit all day, I just go with what it sincs on MFP and eat accordingly. I am sure that I am burning more calories sometimes but I don't worry about those as long as the scale is moving.0

I have the fit bit flex and I log exercise as in bike riding, aerobics or weights on MFP but don't put in walking and it works its self out0

Fitbit tracks your over all daily calorie burn. It monitors if you are sedentary for a large part of the day and your periods of activity. I have the flex, I know on some of my trips to the gym I'm burning several hundred calories, but if I was pretty sedentary for most of the day prior or after, it will make adjustments accordingly. Just trust it to do its thing. The only activity I actually input in MFP is anything not step related, swimming, weights, etc.0

Thanks All! I guess I will just keep track of what I do on those days and let the FitBit do it's thing. I'm thinking I should have gone the HRM way, but too late now Worse case is I'm burning more than my FIt Bit shows with weight training and all. I will count that as a plus and move on! LOL0
