How Do I Get Toned

So I uploaded the most recent picture of myself as my profile pic. I'm just wondering if people with more experience would know what I would have to do to see more definition. Right now I'm doing a combination of cardio and strength exercises (I don't log the strength exercises but it's roughly an hour a day 4x a week working different body parts each day). I'm assuming the more fat I cut the more toned I will look?

Your potential is going to be defined, in large part, by genetics. With that said, looks to me like you could still get your body fat down. I think that cardio to help conditioning and weights to get some muscle growth is the way to go. However, the most important part is patience.

Yes, calorie deficit to lose fat, and continue weights to maintain muscle mass. Then when you hit goal weight, move back into a calorie surplus (smartly) and move to heavy lifting to build muscle bulk.
  • Eat one gram of protein per bodyweight and Eat in a deficit. Lift heavy, and be patient brother.

Lose weight is the only way, and do moderate weight lifting to keep the muscle you already have.
