What are the best workouts to burn calories

I have just started my weight loss journey. I want to burn maximum calories in a workout. Ive started doing a bit of zumba and a slim in 6 as well as random workout routine on youtube.

Any suggestions please let me know.

Any helpful tips on diet and exercise are much appreciated. Thanks

I get a great calorie burn from T25 too. Probably my best burns were from ChaLEAN Extreme and Body Revolution when I lift as heavy as I can possibly go. Burn is through the roof if I really push myself to lift heavier.

The ones that you will stick to: focus on doing what you enjoy. If you really get into something, you will find that there are other workouts that will help you do it better.

For dense caloric burns, HIIT. Higher intensity=higher burn.

Spinning class for an hour I would burn 6-700 calories per my HRM. After that cardio sculpt classes which is an aerobic activity using weights 3 to 400 per hour. Rollerskating, Deepwater exercise class, zumba, cross training class anywhere from 250 to 400 per hour. When I started I had much higher burns as I am more in shape and my endurance better the calorie burns have definitely gone down. I do wear a heart rate monitor which gives me some clue to the calories even though I know those are 100% accurate, I only eat back some of my exercise calories anyway most days anyway.

Right now I regularly go to Bootcamp at my gym where I burn anywhere from 350-450 calories per 45 minute lunch hour session. However on days that I want more calories burnt, I either do a P90x workout or an Insanity one.

I have been evolving with mine. When I first startedI took weight lifting, then I did running, then I did cycling, then yoga, then swimming, then triathlons, and now I am on a rowing team.

That is the best part of this. Whatever sounds fun....do it! That is what makes this a lifestyle. If Zumba starts to be boring, the beauty is that you can try something else!

The best advice I have ever gotten was that fitness isn`t necessarily made in the gym.

I enjoy low impact aerobics (U tube) and as far as I have learnt, I can still burn cals without high impact. I have to do low because of pain in joints but I will intensify the exercise gradually though as time goes on and when i become fitter.

Just do what you enjoy. If you're up for it, I'd suggest sticking some weight lifting in too.

The one you will stick with and give it your 110%. It will depend on what you are able to do/limitations, etc. If you have bad knees and can't spin quickly and exert much energy then doing something else more intensely may burn more calories.
