I'm based in the US and I think my count is up to 28 using the Traveler's Century Club list. They cheat a little; places far removed from the mainland of a country such as Alaska and Hawaii count separately; so do the Balearic Islands, Scotland, England and Wales.
I've been to most countries in Europe including Liechtenstein and Luxembourg, less of E. Europe although I've been to Russia, Croatia, Hungary, the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Have been to India many times on business; I love India and will go back someday. Went to Brazil over a long weekend in 2000 when Continental offered OnePass travel form our home airport to Rio for 17,500 OnePass miles round trip.
This year we're returning to Alaska; next year maybe Italy. We've been to Italy twice before but there's a lot to see. It helps to have a DH who also loves travel, and low fixed expenses so we can afford it.0 -

Like some others on here the I'm a Navy vet. I also miss Edinburgh. That place was beautiful but expensive along with Seychelles Africa . Though I wouldn't spend more than three days there...it starts to feel like you're stranded on Gilligans island lol. Italy was beautiful to but I would like to go back. The Louvre is a lot to see in itself but it's on my wish list to see the whole thing. Sure do missall that traveling military life offers but I wouldn't mind doing a cruise where I didn't have to work the whole time lol0

Whoa, zombie thread....
I'm Canadian.
I lived in Germany for student exchange and Spain to work, and I've been all over western/northern Europe. Pretty well everywhere that's not former Soviet, I think.
I've done southern Africa- South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Zambia, Zimbabwe. And like an afternoon in Morocco if that counts.
I've been to the US, of course. And several of the "sun" destinations as I'm a former travel agent and used to go for work or just because it was cheap. Mexico, Dominican, Cuba, Jamaica.
But I've not done Asia/Oceana, the Middle East and Indian subcontinent, or South America (although we're going to hike the Inca Trail next year.)
I'm boring- just spent a lot of time in Europe because it was convenient while living there.0 -
Ukraine - Born in Kaharlyk
Canada - Moved to British Columbia in 2005
USA (of course) - Only been to Washington (since the boarder's only like 30 minutes or less from my house), but we're planning a trip to Texas, and I'd love to go walking around New York one day.
Russia
Poland
Germany - Lived in Munich for 6 months before moving to Canada
Bulgaria
Romania
Hungary
Slovakia
Serbia
Turkey
Dominican Republic
I really want to go to: Iceland, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Morocco, Australia, New Zeland, Mexico, Belize, Peru, and maybe some other Central/South American countries - I'm getting the itch to travel somewhere (maybe somewhere warm) soon!0 -
I'm from the U.S. and have travelled to Canada, Germany, Austria and Spain. All but Canada was when I was Active Duty Army.0
