 I have been using this app for over 2 months now. Entering everything i eat and also working out at least 5 times a week. I dont geel any different and have also not lost any weight and i dont know why! I never go over my 1200 calorie allowance unless i had a big work out at the gym and burnt 600 plus calories then i do intake more.

Am i doing something wrong? I would like to lose a few pounds!!

Most people are going to request that you make your food diary public.

It should be working, so we need to take a look and see what's going on. Do you have a food scale? Are you weighing all of your food?

I thought I was eating a 100g yam once, and... turns out it was 289gs, a 280 calorie difference in one meal. Do these types of things enough and you can easily maintain your weight.

If you made your diary public, we could give you more targeted advice. At a guess, you should probably eat more. Also, you might be overestimating your serving sizes. Hard to know without more data.

Do you know your TDEE and BMR?

you want to lose 11lbs so set MFP to lose 0.5 lb per week, weigh and measure EVERYTHING you eat, ensure you get plenty of protein (100g per day) and do some strength/resistance trainign, not just cardio.

Assuming you have been recording everything accurately it sounds like 1200 calories is maintenance for you instead of a cutting. 1200 calories is already pretty low so I wouldn't recommend gong to much more under that. What kinds of foods are you eating?

Unless you're a super tiny girl I'm going to say you're not eating enough. I'm 5'2, 172lbs and I eat a minimum of 1500 cals/day and am losing. Also.... you might pull back on the cardio. When I was doing a ton of cardio I wasn't losing. I am only getting in 1 cardio workout/week and doing lifting 3x/week now.

This pretty much happened to me exactly. Investing in a food scale was a real eye opener. You'd be surprised by how much you're really eating versus what you thought.

Try making the diary public again. I still can't get to it.

Have you ever used the online calculators to estimate your BMR and TDEE. Ones like this?

    Diary not public.

Use the Scooby calculator to calculate your TDEE and BMR. (google it)

Set your calories to TDEE - 10% (you don't have much to lose, and are in the normal weight range already).
When you use the TDEE- 10% (or 20% method-->don't use this, you are already normal weight), you do NOT eat back exercise calories. Just eat the same amount daily.

Make sure you measure everything you eat including condiments. Limit processed meals and meals eaten that you did not prepare.

If you are exercising, take body measurements so when the scale gets stuck you can see progress via the measurements.
