does it matter how long i lift?

i started stronglifts today and many ppl say it takes 30-45 min. however i did it in 15-20 min. is that still a good workout?

Yes, it will take longer as the weights get heavier, and you do a longer warm up.

10 minutes doing heavy barbell squats is better than an hour of curls and tricep kickbacks.
