Newbie in need of support & encouragement!

Hi! I’m Jackie. I’ve joined my fitness pal in hopes of receiving support and encouragement and making friends who understand my situation. In the last year and a half I have suffered two injuries, T-12 compression fracture and a compound fracture to my left ankle. Needless to say I put on about 55lbs. I am miserable and decided to do something about it. I have joined a gym and have a personal trainer. I am eating better and am starting to feel better too. I have never needed to work out before, I have always been slim and fit, but as I’ve gotten older, the weight has decided to just stick around so now I am taking measures to get rid of those 55 lbs and be healthy.

    Love giving and getting support.. I too suffered an injury that resulted in a bunch of weight gain! Add me!
