Does anyone do T25 and other activities?

I'm going to be realistic here. I know I'm not going to be able to do T25 AND everything else I want to do at the same time. However, I've decided I'm going to attempt T25 and 2 x Body Balance (Tai Chi, Yoga, Pilates) and later on add running back into my agenda. I may even cut Body Balance out for the first few weeks if I don't feel I can handle it at first. That sounds reasonable right? Do any of your guys do other activities while doing T25 or even while doing Insanity?

I've been doing T25 in the morning and Body Revolution at night. Been going good so far as long as I make sure to do an extended stretch. I haven't been doing the cardios, but otherwise the whole programs. It's been good since they're both so short. I haven't felt like I've done too much and I get to eat more. Which besides lifting more weights (which I love) is the reason I even tried an extra workout at night. But I definitely need my rest day by the end of the week!0

I do T25 cardio and abs but do other workouts also. I can't just do that program or I'd get bored and I like to pick what fits that day for me. I might just do T25 one day, do another tabata-style workout another, I love pilates and laugh that I can nail his abs because of it...I had one short moment when I felt good that I could do the "V" ab hold with arms up while they kept them on the ground in Beta. (one short "nailed it" moment) ; )
I don't feel you ever have to do a program just as they say, especially if there are a lot of DVD's, if you don't like a lower body or ab workout, do one you do like that challenges you. Nothing is perfect for everyone. I find mixing it up helps with weight loss too...at least with me being older.0 -
I am currently doing T25 and I am in Beta phase. I just order the 21 Day fix and I plan on doing both programs at the same time. I plan on doing T25 in the evenings and 21 Day fix workouts in the mornings that way I can give my body time to rest. It will be my first time doing multiple workouts at once so I am hoping it all goes well.0

I think you'll be fine! I'm finishing up week 5 of T25, and I've been doing other additional workouts basically every single day without problems so far.0

I run 4 to 5 days a week and do T25 3 days a week. There is at least one day a week that I do both (run in morning and do T25 in evening). I am on gamma phase. Obviously I am not exactly following the T25 schedule which is 5 days a week. I don't have the time/energy to double up. I am training for a half marathon so running is more important to me. I think that the cross training I get with T25 is helpful in warding off running injuries.0

I did 60 days of T25 as part of a challenge group last fall and played pretty competitive and intense pick-up soccer games twice a week while doing it.
The key is to really make sure that you build in rest and recovery time so that you don't overdo it. The T25 workouts are intense, but they are only 25 minutes a day of intense, so it's perfectly doable to do them along with other activities. Just listen to your body and if it starts telling you to back off, then back off.0 -

So T25 & 21 Day Fix combined might be a little bit of overdoing it on the cardio.
You will also need to modify the nutrition plan portion of the 21 Day Fix to accommodate more activity than is built into the program.
The key thing to remember is that there really is no way to accelerate weight loss by simply doing more exercise. If you go into too steep a caloric deficit your metabolism will slow down to try to compensate.

Hi for those that do t25 how do you log it into the app? since t25 itself is not listed in the exercises?? thanks I just want it to be as accurate as possible.0

I bought a HRM but even before, I just use aerobics, general. It's actually pretty close sometimes. but with T25, it had me at 167 for 25 min and I did 200 with Alpha. I actually did less with Beta and don't like the core cardio as much...so I use what I like in the program and what works for me and do other things to balance.0
