20 years young

Hi my name is Victoria. I am 20 years young and I am trying to become healthy. Right now I weight 256 pounds. Because of events in my life and the family ordeals that I have gone through it has caused me to eat my feelings. I am just now accepting things in my life and learning to move on. I guess I am here for support and for advice from anyone who could give me any. I want to be able to do a 5k by June. I am not trying to be able to run the whole thing I just want to be able to complete it.

My goal is to get to my healthy and correct weight which is suppose to be 120 pounds.

    Fantastic of you for taking responsibility for your health! Are you doing C25K? That program worked wonders for me for starting to run!

    Yes you are young! I'm so glad you are doing this now. It is so much harder when you pass 30. I wish so much that I could go back and start younger. Good luck and welcome to MFP!!
