3 Months... Help and Advice please!!!!

Hi everybody, I currently weigh 140 pounds, roughly, and I am 5'5. I am going on a holiday for a week with the bf in 3 months time, exactly. I have never been confident in a bikini around my family, so I obviously need a bit of help if I plan on being comfortable in a bikini with him!
Where do I start? I recently bought Insanity, so was thinking of doing that for the first month? And trying to eat clean? But I'm not too sure what that involves. Is Insanity enough to lose about 10lbs and tone up, in 2 months, with then 1 month to try lifting? Or am I going about this the wrong way?
HELP.

Your weight is perfect for your height.
Are you trying to tone?0 -
I'm sure it is healthy and within my B.M.I., but in a bikini there is blatantly room to improve, as i have put on 15 pounds in the last few months and have no muscle what so ever. I want to look healthy, not starved, and fit. So I want to lose weight first primarily, and then ALSO tone up along the way.0

I'm same weight and height, my weight from the scale isn't changing but I am noticing a difference in appearance. I say forget the scale and go for the workouts - I've just started the 30 Day Shred and not bothered if I don't lose weight but I hope to lose inches.
Edit: 'Looking to tone' - combine cardio and resistance training0 -
I think you should try some HIIT workouts. They help burn lots of calories and also tone and strengthen. PLUS they can be done at home! Just look some up on Pinterest!
And it helps to eat a high protein diet to tone and build those muscles.0 -
Does Insanity count as HIIT or should I try something else? I've heard a lot of people say you don't lose much on it, just get better stamina?0
