How do I get passed the post-wo throw up feeling?

I usually don't have this problem but today I pushed a little harder on the tredmill. And now I feel like need to throw up. Keep in mind, due to my disorders, I haven't been able to workout much (at all, really) in the last 3-4 years. So "pushing myself" really doesn't take much. I feel ok otherwise, just REALLY nauseated. Any suggestions?

  • I'm not familiar about your disorders but have you had blood work done recently. Three years ago when I started going to a gym regularly (I mostly used the elliptical) I had the same problem and found out I was slightly anemic. I had to take iron supplements and that seemed to help tremendously with the sick feeling.

I am on immuno-suppressants for one of my disorders (Dermatomyositis) and have my blood drawn every 3 months. I have had it drawn a number of times in between for other things. I would assume that something like anemia would have been found by now. But I'll keep that in mind for future reference. I also have Celiac disease too. Both can make me VERY tired, thus the reason no working out for a while. I had to get some control on both disorders before I could safely (in good conscience) "tax" my body like that. Now I am trying to get this weight off and I know I need to do more than just watch my food intake. Thus the push in the treadmill today. I've been on it twice last week and now today and I have felt stronger each time but today was the first time I have had that feeling though....
