Hello,
This is my first post so im going to give a little introduction. My name is Meagan and I am currently in college studying animal science. I have always been overweight and I guess this past July I finally decided I was done with this mess and started looking into ways to lose weight.. So I started exercising and I lost 4 lbs in two weeks and I havn't looked back since.

I have been useing my fitness pal on my iPhone for about the last month or so but only for the last couple weeks have I really been keeping up with everything I eat. It seems to help so much for me to be able to keep up with exactly how many calories I eat and it drives me to not over eat. I love the search engine. I can find 99% of the exact foods I eat. It's great and I think it has really helped with my weight loss.

So far since July of 2010, I have lost 35 lbs. I currently weigh 190 lbs and this is the least amount I have weighed since I can remember. I am so excited and hope to be able to reach my goal weight by my 21st birthday on February 20th, but I think that is pretty unrealistic.

I am 5'7" and I don't have an exact weight I want to be at but im thinking around 140-150 lbs.

Welcome and congrats! i'm 5"6 and i'm supposed to weight 155 (according to the doctor's office). once i started watching my calories it was crazy to see what i used to eat was so unhealthy!
  • Yea, and I'm a college student so fast food was a major part of my diet.
I have been able to completely cut out sodas of any kind and eat healthier fast food options like subway.
I know subway still isn't the best but it's better than a big Mac and fries :)

    Well done, you're doing great!
  • Thanks!
I can now wear size 12 pants. I am so excited.
Don't remember the last time I could wear 12s.
Time to go do a little bit of shopping. Woot.
Can't believe I have waited this long to start losing weight.
