My husband owns a fine dining sushi resto in NYC, so he eats tons of raw fish. I just wanted to pass along some pertinent info from doing research and talking to our doctor…raw fish is of course great for you in terms of "good fats" and protein, but if you have any immunity issues you have to be careful of the heavy metal levels.
Just something to keep in mind if you have any immune issues.
Shoyu is used in such small amounts, it's totally fine, especially if you aim to use the low sodium option!

Shoyu, or soy sauce, doesn't have a lot of calories. If you are concerned about the sodium, try switching to low sodium tamari.
