Uncle Ben’s Mexican Infused Rice infected 50 students at 3 elementary schools in the Katy, TX area yesterday. . Symptoms included a skin rash with itching and a sensation of warmness without fever. Each student’s situation appeared to improve with water and a short period of time. Uncle Ben’s manufacturer recently issued a voluntary recall and that the allergic reaction some students experienced was likely due to a product within the rice.

Main reason why I don't buy that crap. It's LOADED with 900+g of sodium per serving and I can make 5 times the amount with normal brown rice and make it tastier with chicken broth instead.0
