I haven't been eating as well as I should be... I think part of it is because I was eating some of the same things... and getting bored. So I'm going grocery shopping at some point this weekend and I need ideas! So what do you eat?

I'm looking for anything. Sandwiches, soup (I've never made homemade soup, ever), pasta, pizza, salads... ANYTHING. Some stuff I would need to cook ahead of time to bring to work.

Breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks... and even desserts :)

I'm not a picky eater... I just hate peas... and I'm not a fan of beans...

Help!!! Thanks :)

I get it at the local Shaw's, in the Natural/Organic section. Look for anywhere that carries "Wonder Natural Foods."

Edit: Their website has a store locator!

Kashi definitely keeps me full. It is rich with protein AND fiber. The regular GoLean takes a little getting used to, but the toasted berry crumble is killer! I'll choose either over cheerios any day :)

Fortunately my breakfast & morning snack are only 2 hrs apart. However, if I'm hungry early, then I eat early. No big.

I find that protein in the morning helps me keep full until lunch time. With my work schedule, I eat breakfast at 5:30 and don't eat lunch until Noon. If I have a good bit of protein with my carbohydrate breakfast I have absolutely no problem making it to lunch without snacking.

I love it personally. Half the calories, spreads great, and tastes better than most peanut butters I've had in my life!

I usually cook up a 2 or 3 skinless chicken breasts on the weekend. Dicing them up ahead of time, insures I will make better choices. 2 to 4 ounces in a wrap with veggies; 2 to 4 ounces in a stir fry, 2 to 4 ounces on a salad, 2 ounces in some low sodium chicken broth, add some veggies and rice or pearl barley, etc. I'm sure you can come up with ideas too. It's so helpful to have it cooked up ahead of time. If it doesn't look like I will use it all up before it goes bad... I toss the rest in the freezer for later. A quick thaw and it's ready to go.

My girlfriend does, and she likes it. She usually mixes hers with a cup of frozen berries too, makes it more like a smoothie!

I usually have trouble meeting my protein intake, so I will often enjoy a protein shake/powder, if that helps answer your question.

I have had two different protein powders in my journey.
    1) Genisoy Chocolate Soy Protein Powder. Gross, nasty, icky. Was like drinking chocolate flavored sand in milk.
    2) Body Fortress Chocolate Peanut Butter Whey Protein Powder. Not bad, not bad at all. 1 scoop with one cup of milk, and it's pretty good (plus it's cheaper, lol).

I usually just throw the powder and milk in a nalgene-esque bottle, shake it up until there's no visible solids, and I'm good to go; however this method sometimes leaves some of the powder undisolved, but I'm usually not patient enough to do much else. My girlfriend prefers to put hers in a blender, and does 1 scoop powder, 1 cup milk and 1 cup frozen berries. Comes out like a smoothie, with lots of little seeds in it, but the powder is fully disolved.

Allmax Isoflex :) Comes in AMAZING flavours like Chocolate Peanut Butter and Chocolate Mint.

Regarless of the brand, make sure that you purchase one that has little to no carbs and no sugar. :)

And i mix mine with water.

Always watch the sugar content on these puppies.

I have a Body Fortress vanilla powder that I HATE. Anyone want a Christmas present? I think it is gross, but someone else might really dig vanilla. I'm more of a chocolate gal, myself.

I did like Natural Edge Chocolate Whey. It made great smoothies with just a little water & ice :)
