I just joined.
I was wandering if there is a place on this website that instead of typing in all the ingredients to make a recipe if one could just key in carbs, protein, dietary fibre,fat.....and then just name it what ever the item is?
I sure hope someone can help me...
feeling a little overwhelmed..
Thanks

Type the name in the search function. Scroll down to the search results and there is button that says add new food. Click this and add info there.

Livestrong.com has a great ability for you to put in everything that's in a recipe and figure out what the approximate nutritional content will be. Here's an example for one I put in. http://www.livestrong.com/recipes/peanut-butter-cranberry-energy-bars/0
