So, although I'm still going to be focusing on losing weight and toning up -I was still so happy with the compliment I got yesterday that I thought I'd post it to make a point for all us self conscious ladies: I went on a date last night with a (HOT) man and I'd been feeling a nervous before it caus he's in the army so is quite fit (and again,HOT lol) and I wasn't really feeling up to par next to him ("what if he sees me and thinks I'm fat" "what if he sees me and leaves!" etc etc). So after a few beers (and a kiss caus we got on very well :P) he turns around and tells me that he thought I had a really sexy curvy shape and he was obsessed with my bum!

I'm not sharing this to be cocky but to show that despite what we may think/feel about ourselves and what we think others might think about us, there is no way to know for sure so we all might as well think positive and try to give out a positive vibe! Summed up best by "Don't frown because you just never know who's falling in love with your smile" :D

  • Well said!! You Go Sexy Lady :drinker:
  • I love compliments!
When I lost weight in the summer and then went back to uni. A bunch of people said I looked great, a lot healthier and fitter.
Where as some others...well mainly one person, kept saying i was too skinny, i was anorexic, i should eat more, you're just skin a bones...yada...which i have no reason one put me down.

it only took one person to do that even though 5 others mentioned i looked good.

But compliments are good :D people need to dish them out more, even if they are jealous
  • You go girl!
