Help! Have I reached a plateau already? (after two weeks)

Hi,
I'm on the low calorie diet (about 1200-1300 cal/day) for 17 days now.
I lost about 4 pounds in the first week and a half. However I've gained 1-2 pounds back and my weight has not changed since.
Have I reached a plateau ? What can I do to break the plateau phase?
Im 5.5ft and currently weigh 128lb
I only work out 2-3 times a week (30-40 min of cardio).

You are at a healthy weight, so any loss will require a careful balance and careful consideration of your goals. They sound unrealistic at this point.0

And plateau's are usually 6 weeks or more of no weight loss while being consistent with diet and exercise. Which by the way, are you exercising? Lower calorie diets slow metabolic rate and exercise helps to raise it.

I completely agree. 100 percent. I suggest reevaluating your goals.
Also, you can't say because your weight went up a 1-2 lbs in half a week that it's a plateau. Weight naturally fluctuates a few pounds a day And a few days isn't near enough time to know what direction your weight is going. A plateau lasts weeks/months, not days.0 -
Thank you all for quick response.
The main goal of this journey was to change my bad eating habits and get toned (I usually eat fast food mainly and now I cut down the fast food once/twice per week). I wouldn't want to slow down my metabolism by eating small. are there any rules for choosing minimum intake calories?
I exercise only 2-3 times per week, 30-40 minutes on the elliptical machine with interval mode.0 -

You can change bad eating habits without losing weigh...and to get "toned" get off the machines and start lifting some weights or doing some sort of resistence training.0
