    cocaine.

If that's in your budget, you're probably not too worried about buying generics.

Is crack the equivalent of generic cocaine? **scrratches head in a mildly confused manner**

Nope! Crack is NOT the equivalent.

    Crack is Whack

Honey. It's gotta be pure and natural or it's just corn syrup and sugar.

Chocolate. 72% or it's not worth the calories.

Coats. I'll wear one I love over and over again so it better last a long time.

    I won't go cheap on...

    Ketchup (Hunt's no HFCS)
    Salad dressings (brand's vary)
    Applesauce (Mott's all-natural)
    Apple juice (Indian Summer)
Certain Greek yogurts (Meijer, Great Value are the only acceptable store brands but I <3 expensive ones, too)
Sour cream (Daisy low-fat or regular)
    Tea (brands vary)
    Coffee (Paramout)
Ice cream (the less ingredients the better)
    Eggs
    Chicken
    Ground meat
Potato chips (Bettermade Rainbows, yes, I know they're burnt. I pay for the convenience of having them all in one bag)
Ginger ale (it's Vernors or nothing)
    Hot dogs (Various brands)

The rest of it you just have to know what you are buying. I will by store brand TP from one store but not another. I buy my tissue at the dollar store, it's Scotties and I <3 it. I buy store brand sugar cereal but I'm still sitting here with a box of store brand "Kashi" I don't know if I'll like it. I buy stuff from Aldi and Wal-Mart, Target and Kroger. Meijer has so like 4 different Meijer brands. Organics, non-GMO (called "Naturals"), regular Meijer brand and maybe Meijer Basics (?) There is so much variety right there. I just don't buy all of my generics in one place.

Oh my god and I will ONLY buy store brand plastic food bags. Ziplocs smell, and your food tastes like Ziploc!!

You're not a southerner so you might not have heard of Duke's Mayo but it is fantastic. Way better than Hellmans. Trust me.

Geez, what kind of toilet paper do they sell in the US? I buy the cheapest I can find and I never noticed any difference.

    Anyway: coffee, beer, chocolate, electronics.

Cheap toilet paper is like John Wayne; rough, tough and doesn't take **** off of anyone.

(you might not get that reference if you're not a red blooded American) Maybe you can insert Austin Powers or James Bond if you're British.

They sell all kinds of Toilet Paper in the U.S.A.
Heck, you could really save some chump change by buying a multipurpose paper towel.

Don't worry, I got it

Now that I think about it, I've seen huge rolls of John Wayne-toilet paper in some public restrooms (i.e. train station) but I've never seen it in a supermarket, that's why I asked

Also, I forgot to add jam to the list. If I can't have home-made jam, it'd better be damn delicious.
