any success stories of people who have lost weight and tone up with bodyweight exercises?

    I'm down 25 lbs from my heaviest with only running, pushups and a sprinkling of a few other bodyweight exercises. I couldn't walk a mile, much less run, when I started. Could do a few pushups, I recently did 400 in a day. Couldn't even do half a pull-up, and now I can do several sets of four (very hard to do still).

    I guess it's a success story "in progress", I have 20-30 pounds to go.

    Probably 90% (or more) of my exercise has been running, yoga, and TRX.

    The majority of my exercise has used bodyweight. I'm down 15 lbs.

    Any body here got that book 'You Are Your Own Gym'?

    Great book, very informative and lots of body weight exercises, only takes 21 mins pper day. I did legs and ended up walking like an injured cowboy for a few days!
