Hi my name is Fran and I am from southern Ontario. A few years ago I was on weight watcher when my weight was pushing 300 lbs. 2 years ago I started at the gym and that is actually when my weight loss halted and I have been in between 230-240 ever since. I decided to start here to see if I can pin point where I am going wrong. I do eat unhealthy at times but I try to behave. I am at the gym 3-4 times a week, doing cardio or weight training. I am alot healthier than I was when I started at the gym and I ran/walk my first 5k back in September with a time of 39 minutes. I am just frustrated with the scale never moving. So I took measurement of my body on Friday and have been tracking calories(it is so tedious). My question is that today isnt an exercise day and I gave myself a 1400 calorie limit but Im finding it impossible to stick to. I already had a 2 hour nap cause i feel like I have no energy. I just ate popcorn cause I am starving leaving me barely 500 calories for the rest of the day, and I literally had an apple for breakfast. My BMR is 1781. Does this mean my intake is to low? Should I up it? What is the average calorie day like for people my size? What kinds of food do you snack on? Im so confused. Anyway hi from me.

1400 is a big drop from 1781
How does an apple and popcorn equal 700 / half your calories for the day?

Anywhere between 1400-1600, depending how fast you want to drop is about right. I added you as a friend.0

Hi. I'm Fran too!
Are you making healthy choices for foods? Are you watching quantity too? It's great that you have kept that weight off for 2 yrs. Today is a new day and new start!
Friend me if you want.0
